Hotjet WX Water-to-Water Heat Pump
- Type: Water-to-water
- Source: Underground or surface water
- Regulation: Inverter (variable speed)
- Control: SIEMENS
- Cooling: Flexible (passive + active)
- Operation: Heating, cooling, DHW
HOTJET WX water-to-water – COP up to 6.4
Underground water stays at around 10 °C year-round. That’s the most stable heat source available – which is why the WX water-to-water achieves COP up to 6.4. Every kilowatt-hour of electricity produces over six kilowatt-hours of heat.
Same platform as the WX ground-to-water: Copeland inverter, Siemens control, energy class A+++.
Why water-to-water
- COP 6.4 – the highest efficiency of any heat pump type
- Lowest running costs – stable source = minimal compressor input
- Quiet operation – 38–40 dB, no fan
- Passive and active cooling – use the water’s natural cool in summer
- Weather-independent – performs the same at -20 °C or +35 °C outdoors
What you need
- Source well with sufficient flow rate
- Absorption well for returning cooled water
- Hydrogeological survey – water quality (iron, manganese) and source capacity
- Water extraction permit
