Fault-free since 2011 – HP + buffer tank + solar, Siemens Albatros control

System installed in November 2011 with configuration: heat pump, buffer tank with integrated boiler and heat exchanger for 3 solar panels, low-temperature radiators in a 5-room house. Previous heating was electric direct heating. Insulation of the building envelope was carried out simultaneously with the change of heating method. In the first year, savings on heating were approximately CZK 18,000. The system has been fault-free throughout, with a preventive refrigerant check in January 2022 – 0.4 kg of refrigerant topped up.

+ Siemens Albatros controller can manage multiple heat sources, fairly intuitive operation, option to set service interval reminders for the pump and DHW tank, service alerts by email, remote heat pump management possible after web server firmware update.

- Complex controller setup, but that is the installer’s job – so not really a complaint.
